What you're preparing for
The telc B1 exam has two parts that are passed separately. Good preparation targets both pass marks, not just a good total.

The pass mark for the written exam: reading, Sprachbausteine, listening and the email.
45 of 75 oral points
The pass mark for speaking. A strong written score can't make up for a weak oral one.
90 minutes, no break
Reading and Sprachbausteine share one block. Stamina is part of the test.

Questions before you start
Is PassGerman an official telc product?
No. PassGerman is an independent exam preparation platform. Our mock exams are original, written from scratch around the structure and skills the telc Deutsch B1 exam tests.
Does PassGerman cover the speaking exam?
Not yet. The simulator covers reading, Sprachbausteine, listening and writing. Speaking practice is planned for a later version.
Is B1 enough for German citizenship?
Yes. The citizenship law (§ 10 StAG) asks for a language exam at level B1, and the residence law counts B1 as sufficient German for the settlement permit.
What does it cost?
