Good to know before you book in Munich

  • telc Deutsch A2-B1 is a different exam: The Münchner Volkshochschule lists telc Deutsch A2-B1 under exams and naturalisation. That is not the same test as telc Deutsch B1. Check which one your authority or employer asks for before you book.
  • Dates can book out: German Course Germany marked its telc B1 date on 24 and 26 September 2026 as fully booked, with registration closing on 3 September. Plan a few weeks ahead.
  • Late fees start early: Speakeasy Munich charges only the exam fee until 31 days before the exam, then adds a €30 late fee. FOKUS closes registration 14 days before.

Is telc Deutsch A2-B1 at the Munich VHS the same as telc Deutsch B1?

No. The Münchner Volkshochschule lists telc Deutsch A2-B1 under exams and naturalisation. It is a different test from telc Deutsch B1. Ask the authority or employer that needs your certificate which exam they accept.
